Medicine Ball Ab Workout
Some of the most affective ab workouts are done with a medicine ball. A medicine ball workout is very different from your typical workout with dumbbells and free weights. Most people exercise to lose belly fat and fat from the whole body. Medicine ball exercises are a great way to simulate training in a sport. During sports you usually don’t move slowly like you do when you lift weights at the gym. The best workout routine is one that will mimic the sport you are trying to improve in, or for people just trying to lose belly fat you can focus on ab workouts.
Medicine Ball Ab Workout
The medicine ball is great for many reasons, but the best characteristic is it’s shape. Because it is a circle you can throw it from one person to another or simply throw it up on a wall without the fear of injury.

A great ab workout you can do is to get the sit-up bench that is declined and has a part to tuck your feet under. Have someone stand about 8 feet in front of it with the medicine ball. The person will throw you the ball and you will go all the way back while holding the ball above your head, then you will sit back up and throw the ball to the person while you are coming up. The person will immediately throw it back to you and you will repeat as many reps as desired. I would recommend 12 for starters using a 10 pound medicine ball for men and an 8 pound medicine ball for women. This medicine ball abs routine will get you really sore the first few times you do it because it’s very different than doing slow movements like crunches.
