Diet to Lose Fat

The name of this site is exercises to lose fat but let me be the first to tell you that workouts alone will not get rid of belly fat. You have to watch what you eat. American’s are not fat just because they don’t exercise, although that is one of the reasons, but because they have bad eating habits. You need a high protein low fat diet. This is where we all stumble. If you add up everything you ate yesterday I would put money on the fact the grams of fat you ate outweighs your protein intake. You are not going to lose weight by eating a high fat diet. This is the big secret that everyone wants to know but that they refuse to follow. Burning calories is important when you follow a low fat diet plan. Don’t be afraid of carbs when you are eating. You need more carbs than either fat or protein. That’s the way our bodies are made, the chemistry proves that carbs are used more readily as energy than any other substance.
I personally lost 20 pounds in 2 months from following one simple rule. If something had more fat than protein I would not eat it. This way you will not eat too much fat and you will keep your protein intake high. I was exercising regularly doing all the exercises to lose belly fat that I knew of. What I noticed following that diet plan was that I ate a lot more fat everyday than I was aware of. If you think you don’t eat a lot of fat, think again. Try this method that is completely healthy and will produce results. Another reason I had such great success is that I didn’t cheat even once for the whole two months. A great thing about this diet is that you really don’t have to change any of the good foods you like, you just cut out some bad stuff and after a couple weeks you stop craving those things. After the 2 months I was able to keep the weight off easily because I got into a habit of snacking on things with protein and not just fat. Don’t get me wrong you need fat in your diet and you will get plenty of it using this diet method but you will be filling yourself up with protein too. It’s a type of high protein low fat diet that will grow on you and that will change the way you eat for the rest of your life. You will begin to love low fat foods. Now if the food is all natural such as a fruit or vegetable it most likely has good fat and the rule doesn’t apply. Avocados are high in fat but the fat is mono unsaturated which is better for you. A rule of thumb is that the more liquid a fat is at room temperature the better it is for you. So butter is horrible because it’s solid but some oils are okay because they are liquid.
