Abdominal Exercises
If you have some extra stomach fat and you need some abdominal exercises to help you in your struggle against the belly bulge you have come to the right place.
Stomach exercises are a great way to lose fat from the mid-section. Now, I’m not going to lie to you and say that by doing abdominal exercises alone you will lose belly fat. You have to hit the nutrition side as well in order to lose weight from the belly.
Lets look at some exercises to lose fat from the stomach.
First you have your traditional crunch. Now you want to do crunches and not full blown sit-ups because the crunch doesn’t allow your stomach to relax and puts less stress on your back. Crunches will work the top 4 of the 6 pack very well but they will do nothing for the lower abs or obliques.
You will not have the best looking mid section if you only work the top of your 6 pack without focusing on obliques and the lower abs.
To target the lower abs you need to bring your pelvis towards your chest. This is done with leg lifts most efficiently. Simply lay on the ground and raise your legs while keeping them straight. When your legs are parallel to the ground lift your butt off the ground as your legs go towards the sky.
Obliques are done by doing a twisting motion. Take a weight and go from side to side with it. You can do this seated or standing.
